Hospitality comes in all forms at St. Francis. If you are an extrovert who loves to welcome people, consider welcoming people to church on Sunday mornings. Additional opportunities to serve on the Hospitality Team are always available. Ushering
Ushers take the hospitality at the front door and bring it into the sanctuary. From passing out bulletins to bringing forward the bread and wine, ushers are an important part of Sunday worship. |
Serving in WorshipReaders
The Liturgy of the Word is our chance to hear and reflect on Scripture together. If you love to read Scripture and would like to share this love with the community, there are opportunities to read every Sunday throughout the year. Acolyting
Whether you are young or young at heart, you can become an acolyte and assist the clergy on Sunday mornings. It takes many hands to bring the Liturgy of the Table to life, and acolytes are an essential part of our shared worship. Eucharistic Ministry
Once the bread and wine have been blessed and consecrated by our priest, they are ready to share with the community. Eucharistic Ministers offer the chalice of wine to everyone seeking communion. It is a sacred and holy service on Sunday morning. |
