We recently met in person (scandalous, but safely six feet apart!) to review requests received. You may remember last September, when we blessed backpacks. NW Housing Alternatives has again requested $1,000 to fund a School Supply Drive, which will purchase backpacks for local kids. While plans for school re-openings remain in-flux, backpacks never go out of style and can be used in future years. You may be wondering what you can do to help in these turbulent times and your donation will help keep kids focused and energized about school! Directions: 1) Donate online through our PayPal site, plus send an email at [email protected], noting this is for the MDE: NW Housing Alternatives request, (since there is no memo line on the PayPal form). 2) Mail a check to Saint Francis, PO Box 445, Wilsonville, OR 97070. In the memo line write ‘MDE: NW Housing Alternatives.’ Thank you for making a difference! More information will come in early fall about our MDE plans for the holidays.
