Dear Friends, This past Sunday, I offered an invitation in my sermon, to meet via Zoom with a group from the Clarkes United Methodist Church for an Episcopal program, entitled, “Sacred Ground Dialogue Circles.” This group will spend 10 sessions together, every two weeks, beginning on Tuesday evening, September 14, 2021 from 7:00-8:30 pm around the difficult subject of race and racism. The sessions will focus on a respectful, transformative conversation guided by films, videos, readings and the sharing of our hearts. The program has been working around the USA since 2017, but this one will involve two denominations in both a rural and suburban setting and should be very exciting.
