There will be no conversation November 29. Please join us on Zoom December 6, 13 and 20 for conversations about the Incarnation. We’ll be using the Prologue to the Gospel of John (excerpts below) to explore this wonderful, mysterious gift to the world. We’ll meet at 9:20 am after Morning Prayer, using the link from Brendan+. Make a fresh cup of coffee or tea, and let’s see what we can learn! In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was with God, and the Word was God… What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it… He was in the world, but the world knew him not. He came to his own home, and his own people received him not. But to all who received him, who believed in his name, he gave power to become children of God… And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory… full of grace and truth. . Catechumenate is a long, leisurely, wonderful look at what our (past or future) baptisms mean to us, and what we mean to each other, the parish, and the world. And in 2021 you can join us in your jammies! We’ll begin in January, and finish in April, meeting each week on Zoom at a day/time most convenient for all of us.
