A big “Thank You!” to all of the people who have already dropped clothing off at the church. Your generosity is greatly appreciated and will truly benefit the many homeless men and women who rely on St Timothy’s Episcopal church to provide clothing, food and a hot shower.
Now is the time for everyone else to bring your discarded warm adult clothes and drop them off in the large, marked box outside the offices at St Francis. Your donations will help to fill the clothes closet at St Timothy’s church before the cold, wet weather sets in. They are particularly in need of waterproof outerwear as well as sweatshirts and pants. They would love to have scarves, hats and gloves, too. If you don’t have clothes to donate, please consider buying a pack of underwear. Used towels are also needed. We will be collecting clothes through Sunday, September 12, after which we will transport them to Brookings. If you have questions, please contact Ann Frazier at 503-657-0739 or [email protected].
