Connecting St. Francis members new and not so new Here’s some more information about the proposed “small group” Zoom project. The goal is to bring together members of our church community, especially making it possible in these restricted times for new members of the church to get to know the more established members. We hope that you will sign up to show your interest using the online link and fill in the interest form. We plan to assign people randomly to groups of 6-8 people, whose initial commitment would be to meet a minimum of four times in four months. Meetings would be on Zoom and last for as long as you wish, and we may suggest some upbeat activities for you to consider. If all the members of the group have been vaccinated for Covid, then they would have the option to meet in person — perhaps for a lunch or potluck dinner. At the end of four months, if you are still interested, the groups will be shuffled so that you would meet a different group of people, again for four or more times in four months.
